Adeline is a Romanian-born artist, educator and researcher based in the UK. She grew up in a small town in the northern Carpathian mountains and studied printmaking at the University of Art and Design, Cluj-Napoca, before moving to Britain in 2013. She graduated with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from the University of Bedfordshire in 2016.
Her practice moves between oil painting, printmaking, ceramics, crochet and tapestry, and electronic and wearable work.
Alongside the studio, Adeline is completing an MSc in Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health at King’s College London (IoPPN), and her research feeds directly into the work. Rage on the Page, an ongoing project with participants, pairs drawing with EEG to explore how emotion becomes a mark on paper. In 2026 she completed the g.tec BCI & Neurotechnology Spring School.
She works part-time as a Printmaking Technician and Lecturer and has an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
